What You Can Do?
TOU Meeting attendance and participation remains the primary way to for individuals to “contribute” to TOU. We do NOT seek monetary fees, dues, or contributions! TOU members often continue their conversations between meetings as they form relationships amongst themselves.
We recommend reading the core literature which may be found on: www.tableofunity.org
We also recommend speaking with one or more TOU Ambassadors so that you can speak directly with others to hear about their experiences. We also have several recorded meetings available on our website. At any time, you can refer people to visit our website.
As your TOU experience builds, you may wish to invite others to join a TOU meeting and experience it for themselves. At your sole discretion, you may refer to yourself as a TOU Ambassador. You might decide that you wish to create a video/audio recording to be posted on the TOU website. As TOU grows, we expect that a range administrative services may be needed and welcome these contributions from members.
You can create a new Table of Unity. You may enlist the help of existing TOU members – you certainly don’t have to do it alone.
Of course, the ultimate contribution is to make TOU part of your daily life. In many ways, you may already be doing so. As Barrett has observed, there are many simple things that practically everyone can do. Smile and say hello to someone on the street, in the grocery line or at a gas station. These gestures and conduct of goodwill become habit and uplift others. Share your experience at a TOU meeting. TOU becomes the common experience that joins you with others that are broadly seeking to create and experience “Unity” with other people both like themselves and not like themselves.
